it is?

it is what it is.

Oh, the joy of walking quietly through your days, feeling your life gently around you.

This weekend, we packed our bags and set off on the quick hour-and-a-half flight to Noosa – because let's face it, after a week of chilling out (much needed, might I add), we were in desperate need of some even chiller vibes. Noosaheads, Queensland – a quaint little surf town with beaches so beautiful they’ll make you seriously consider quitting your day job and setting up camp right there on the sand, or maybe that's just me…

Now, let me tell you about our digs – we found a great Airbnb, smack dab in the middle of town, it was a sweet spot and a good deal, too! Friday, we settled in, hit the beach, and ventured off to the legendary Fairy Pools – a must-visit, no doubt.

And then came Saturday – the day we decided to get exciting with our very first boat scuba dive. Now, let me tell you, descending into open waters is a whole different ballgame compared to a shore dive. Cue the panic attacks from all three of us girls, and zero emotional support from our dive guide, Scuba Steve. But hey, we conquered our fears and embarked on three epic dives, encountering everything from sea cucumbers, (pictured), to huge lobsters to a freaking giant bull shark. Oh, and let's not forget about my new favorite fish, the pineapple fish – nature's own little cheeky joke, they be lookin’ like a real pineapple and all.

The rest of the weekend was a glorious haze of relaxation and good eats, topped off with a movie night featuring the one and only Madame Web. Now, let me just say, that movie? Absolute garbage. I know this has absolutely nothing to do with my journeys abroad, but, I feel passionately about this one. Consider this a PSA from yours truly.

Alright, folks, that's a wrap for now. As my Grandma tells me to say, Bondi Beach, signing off ✌️
