how do i make what i do matter?

be human

This week was a lot of finding me. I've been on a quest to secure the perfect digital marketing internship here in Australia, with a keen focus on the fashion industry. Things kicked off with an intensive all-day trial interview at a luxury shoewear company on Tuesday, where I dove headfirst into showcasing my skills and passion.

to the fullest

Wednesday brought another exciting opportunity, this time via Zoom, for a summer internship. The interview went super well — I think… Leaving me feeling optimistic about the possibilities ahead. That being said, to be real with you guys – job interviews are nerve-wracking as heck. It's diving into the unknown, constantly throwing yourself out there and hoping something clicks. But you know what? It's not all that different from making new friends. At the end of the day, the key is to have faith in yourself, even before anyone else does.

But it wasn't all work and no play! Friday rolled around, and I found myself aboard an incredible Catamaran boat alongside 35 fellow international students studying abroad in Sydney. The fun didn't stop there –  the boat day carried into the night, which carried into the next day, and we decided to spend a gorgeous Saturday afternoon at the Randwick Horse Races! Surrounded by new friends and soaking in the excitement of the races, it truly was the epitome of a perfect weekend. As the weekend came to a close, I couldn't help but reflect on the abundance of new friendships, experiences, and exciting prospects on the horizon. Here's to hoping these adventures blossom into fruitful opportunities for my budding career in the months to come!
