what will i get out of this?

everything, in time.

expect nothing.

appreciate everything.

While I have no idea where my journey abroad will take me, I do know one thing for certain: I will learn extensively. Since I can remember, I have been fiercely determined to make the most of every opportunity I have been given, which usually entails extensive planning, high expectations, and trying my absolute best in everything I do. However, in these next five months, I will be endlessly open to whatever comes next. Cause if I wasn’t ready, I wouldn’t have the opportunity.

I will just enjoy where I am.

My family always says that the best education you will ever receive, comes from traveling. And I, myself, have a particular yearning to explore, to make mistakes, and to grow. To do this, I need to move around a bit. To shuffle my surroundings. To wake up in cities I don’t know my way around, and to have conversations about cultures I don't entirely comprehend, yet. I want to take trains and planes to places I haven't seen before. I cannot image something that could teach me more than shared experiences and perpetual adventure.

Talk next year — or just on January 1st, when I finally land in Sydney. Cheers
